Ivy Cascade Green Wall Panel 1m x 1m is a 1m x 1m artificial green wall panel built around trailing ivy over a dense base. The panel is UV stabilised for outdoor use, rated to -25°C and certified fire retardant Class B1, with a manufacturer rating of 8-year indoor / 5-year outdoor. Panels interlock on all four sides so a run of any size tiles without a visible grid line, and the foliage mix is held consistent between production batches — which matters when the same specification is installed across several sites over a season. Upkeep is close to nothing: no water, no light, no feeding, just a dusting a few times a year. Specified most often for balcony screens, terraces and privacy walls.
Ivy cascade is built to hang rather than to tile. The foliage trails downwards from the panel, so a run installed high on a wall, along a balcony edge or over a pergola beam reads as a planting that is falling over the edge rather than as a flat green surface. It is the panel to quote when the brief mentions a balcony, a mezzanine edge or a ceiling feature.
Installed as a conventional flat wall it is the weakest panel in the range, because the trailing habit that makes it work overhead just lies against the substrate. If the wall is flat and vertical and the client wants ivy, a better result comes from a dense base panel with ivy used along the top course only. Interlocking still works normally, so the two can be mixed in the same run.
