The orchid ball is a pre-formed spherical arrangement rather than a single stem, supplied ready to hang or to sit on a stand. It is bought for hotel lobbies, wedding venues and retail atriums where a suspended floral feature is needed without on-site assembly.
Because it arrives finished, it is the item in the range with the highest labour saving and the lowest tolerance for shipping damage. It is packed individually in neutral cartons for that reason, and the packing takes more volume per unit than the flat-packed stems, which is worth accounting for when calculating container space alongside a turf or panel order.
