Mound Moss Wall Panel 1m x 1m is a 1m x 1m artificial moss panel with raised mound moss with a three-dimensional surface. Supplied for interior use only, fire retardant Class B1, cold resistant to -25°C, with a manufacturer rating of 8-year indoor. The panel trims cleanly on site with a utility knife and combines with our greenery panels in the same run for a mixed-texture wall. It needs no water, no light and no feeding — a dusting a few times a year is the whole maintenance routine. Typically specified for sculptural walls and reception desks.
Mound moss is the most three-dimensional panel in the moss range, formed into rounded cushions that stand well proud of the backing. It gives a wall genuine relief and a shadow pattern that changes through the day, which is why it appears in hotel lobbies and gallery-style interiors where the wall is a feature in its own right.
The depth needs planning for. A mound moss wall sits noticeably further off the substrate than a flat panel, so any adjacent reveal, skirting or joinery detail has to allow for it, and a run that meets a door frame will need the frame packed out or the moss stopped short. It is also the panel that takes the most dust, since the cushions present an upward surface, so allow for slightly more frequent maintenance in a busy interior.
